I have been using various link pages which effectively assembles various links you provide with little to no chance of optimization and personalization was a huge problem in the "link" pages.

Not all "link" pages are highly optimizable, and little to no community ensures that it will a dead page (unless of course, u are in the 1% of your field)

Some Utilities of Peerlist

1. There are multiple add-ons of ur various website portfolio's (For eg: substack, Medium, Substack, dev.to pages)

2. You can add your projects for other people to know about your work.

3. You can add your GitHub and your GitHub graph can be seen by just visiting your profile.

4. If you are on the creative side you can show your YouTube videos to the public (u guessed it right you can still optimize it !!! , tell me more about sone p suhaga)

5.Would you rather have to cold-dm and connect with folks randomly or have a community of 10k+ to help and support you (I know it's a hard sell but you can vibe with a few and get a lot done)

What is Professional Networking?

Professional Networking is an important aspect in a person's career, this includes:

1. Networking with Professionals and scouting for advice.
2. Get to know about your prospective clients.
3. Meet people you look up to and aspire to be like them in the future, understand their way of working.
4. Be at the cutting edge of the Technology with the close connection with industry leaders.

How does Peerlist exert itself as a Professional Networking site?

1. Networking is the game, Peerlist is the game changer I have been using various link/profile websites and the extension provided by Peerlist is just amazing wrt to the networking capabilities.

2. In this new remote job market , you need to present an all-rounder image of yours to your recruiters, peers as well asn competitors etc. Peerlist provides a much needed and an easy way to provide valuable info to your your target audience.

3. The Web3 world runs on on-chain and off-chain reputation, one way is by mindfully doxxing yourself by doing commendable off-the chain actions like onboarding new folks to a dApp , creating tutorials etc. The YouTube add-on on Peerlist Profile helps to pin your favorite videos to your profile.

4. Ethereum might have dropped PoW (Proof of Work) but it has a long way to go in the professional scene where a person's credibility is measured by the well-rounded authentic, non-plagiarized work they've done and not on the flimsy certificates which can be copied, edited and created using various tools and take a lot of time, energy and money to be verified. This is where profiles and portfolio's like Peerlist help in bridging this authenticity gap by showing the well distributed range of a person's technical and non-technical capabilities.

5. As Elon Musk said, "Twitter is the de-facto town square of the virtual world" and I completely agree but the large scope of twitter as a social media which has people of almost all the geographical, social, educational and economical diversity (which is a good thing) but it also creates a lot of noise which is problematic in the long run for a person's focus. Hence Peerlist provides an amazing buffer zone (As it's name suggests it's a list of you peers with whom you can hit of ideas and inspiration rather than have a political debate)

2. Fill in necessary details and get onboarded ASAP

My final thoughts on Peerlist -> It is a resume, a portfolio, a flex machine, a community. i.e. it is a package deal and you can curate it upto your own interests. Also read
